Product description 9 Alternative Camera Supports Read More This Monopod with Quick Plate Package from Shape is used to stabilize your photo and video shots in fast-paced environments. The monopod is also a good alternative to carry around certain areas where tripods cannot be used. The 4-section monopod is made from aluminum, has a maximum height of 72", and can collapse down to 26". The easy-to-use flip-locks will keep the sections locked into place, and anti-rotation shafts keep the monopod from twisting while in use. The rubber foot on the bottom retracts back to expose a metal spike, which can stick into soft ground and further stabilize the Monopod. The aluminum Arca-type compatible ball head comes with a quick release plate that has a 1/4"-20 male thread. The ball head itself has three separate locks: one for the main ball, one for panning, and one for tension. Shape's Quick Plate adapter functions as a quick release for video cameras and has both a 1/4"-20 and a 3/8"-16 female thread on the bottom of the adapter to attach to the top of the included Arca-type plate. Most V-plates are compatible with the adapter, but Shape's Delta Adapter plate can be purchased separately. - Monopod has a maximum height of 72", and collapses down to 26"
