Product description The Panasonic GH4 Shoulder Mount from SHAPE is a LWS 15mm rod support rig designed specifically for the Panasonic GH4 with YAGH Interface Unit attached. The system features a baseplate, Paparazzi Handle, Mini Composite Shoulder Pad, Quick Handles, and a Double Sliding Rod Block. The baseplate supports a pair of 18" long rods, while the double rod block supports a pair of 8" long rods at a raised level in front of the rig. This lets you accommodate the height of the GH4 with YAGH interface unit attached, ensuring proper centering of lenses when an optional matte box is used.
While originally designed for the Canon ESO C100/300/500 cameras, the baseplate attaches the YAGH Interface Unit via 3/8"-16 or 1/4"-20 threaded screws. For tripod use, the baseplate has a set of 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads on the bottom for attaching a standard tripod plate. For shoulder-mounted use, both the quick handle and Mini Composite Shoulder Pad clamp onto the 15mm rods using single red spring-loaded levers. The handles feature SHAPE's push button rosette release technology, letting you adjust the angle of the hand grips on-the-fly, without having to remove your hands from the rig.
The Paparazzi Handle clamps onto the 15mm rods and provides a secure point of contact for carrying the camera. Additionally, it has threaded 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 holes along the sides, top, and bottom for adding various accessories, such as LED lights, monitors, microphones, recorders, articulating arms, wireless audio receivers, or any other accessories that you might need.
