Product description The Panasonic GH4 Shoulder Mount Bundle with Gold Mount Battery Plate from SHAPE is a LWS 15mm rod support rig designed specifically for the Panasonic GH4 with YAGH Interface Unit attached. The system consists of a baseplate, Paparazzi handle with EVF mount, Mini Composite Shoulder Pad, Quick Handles, 2-stage 4x4 matte box, double rod block, and a cheese plate with Anton Bauer Gold Mount battery plate. It also includes a Cineroid EVF4RVW EVF for framing and monitoring your shots and a 20" coiled SDI cable for connecting the EVF to the video output from the YAGH.
The baseplate supports a pair of 14" long rods, while the double rod block supports a pair of 8" long rods at a higher level in front of the rig. This lets you accommodate the height of the GH4 with YAGH interface unit attached, ensuring proper centering of lenses when using the matte box. For tripod use, the baseplate has a set of 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads on the bottom for attaching a standard tripod plate. For shoulder-mounted use, both the Quick Handles and Mini Composite Shoulder Pad clamp onto the 15mm rods using single red spring-loaded levers. The handles feature SHAPE's push button rosette release, letting you adjust the angle of the hand-grips on-the-fly, without having to remove your hands from the rig.
The Paparazzi Handle clamps onto the 15mm rods and provides a secure point of contact for carrying the camera. Additionally, it has threaded 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 holes along the sides, top, and bottom for adding various accessories, such as LED lights, monitors, microphones, recorders, articulating arms, wireless audio receivers, or any other accessories that you might need. The handle also features a universal EVF mount for attaching the included Cineroid EVF, which features a 3.5" retina LCD and detachable optical loupe. To power your camera or accessories from power output on select Gold Mount batteries, a 15mm rod-mount cheese plate comes includes with a screw-on Anton Bauer Gold Mount battery plate.
Please see the links below for more information on the components of this kit. - PAPARAZZI I Handle Universal with EVF Mount and 15mm Rod Block The SHAPE PAPARAZZI I Handle Universal with EVF Mount and 15mm Rod Block is an ergonomic top handle designed for use with 15mm rod camera support rigs. It features the PAPARZZI I Handle with Sony Cold-Shoe Bracket, 15mm Rod Block, and EVF Mount.
The handle provides a variety of threaded holes along the top and sides for adding accessories. Threaded holes consist of six 1/4"-20, five 3/8"-16, and five 1/2"-13. The 1/2"-13 holes are compatible with SHAPE's 4" (10cm) and 6" (15cm) male to female 15mm rods. Additionally, a Sony Multi-Interface cold-shoe bracket is provided at the front end of the handle.
The EVF Mount features a straight bracket which attaches to the Sony Multi-Interface cold-shoe bracket and an L-shape bracket designed to hold an EVF, including Cineriod, Alphatron, and others. Two 1/4"-20 screws are included to attached your EVF and two-axis adjustments allow you to position your EVF in a position that is comfortable for you. UPC: 629266001998 - Quick Handle + Rod Block The Shape Quick Handle + Rod Block is a professional video stabilization accessory with 2 camera handles, each providing an individual rotation angle of 360°. You can attach the handle to the camera platform using a simple screw knob. A simple push button located at the articulation allows easy attachment and removal. Combined with the anodized aluminum Rod Block, the Quick Handle offers composite camera support for all 15mm rods. You can achieve precise positioning by sliding the Quick Handle along the rods and tightening the small red knob located on the Rod Block. With 2 screw-threaded holes, the Rod Block provides for attachment of components such as the Quick Handle.

UPC: 629266000793 - Mini Composite Shoulder Pad The SHAPE Mini Composite Shoulder Pad is a comfort-padded and comfort-shaped shoulder pad for the back of your camera rig. Outfitted with a 15mm-mount SHAPE Rod Block, the pad attaches right onto a pair of 15mm rods, slides into the best position on them, and tightens in place by a quality lever. It also has a black Screw Knob under which you can add a SHAPE Counter Weight or a SHAPE Back Pad, both optional and both back-supported accessories that work as extensions of the shoulder pad. The Screw Knob's screw is a 1/4"-20 screw. If you remove the Screw Knob, you'll have yourself a 1/4"-20 screw-hole to add various 1/4"-20-mount accessories into. UPC: 629266000830
- CP33 Cheese Plate with Anton Bauer Plate The SHAPE CP33 Cheese Plate with Anton Bauer Plate is a 15mm rod-mount cheese plate with an Anton Bauer Gold Mount battery plate screwed onto one side. The plate is 1/4" thick and features 33 threaded holes for accessories to be screwed into. These holes run end to end, from one side of the plate to the other. Four of the holes are 10/32" and the rest are 1/4" and 3/8". The Anton Bauer plate covers many of the holes from one side, but you can still screw into these holes from the other side as long as the screws are not much longer than the 1/4" thickness of the plate. The holes at the very corners of the plate are untouched by the Anton Bauer plate and can be used to attach accessories or devices like AJA's Ki Pro Mini. Screws are included for a Ki Pro Mini and for an IDX battery plate. The cheese plate is precision-machined as one piece. UPC: 629266001325
- 2-Stage 4 x 4" Matte Box The SHAPE 2-Stage 4 x 4" Matte Box accepts lenses with up to a 100mm front outside diameter. It mounts to 15mm LWS rods and utilizes a swing-away design, which lets you perform quick lens changes without having to remove the matte box from your rods. You can adjust the height of the matte box in relation to the rods, which comes in handy when your lens center to rod center height is slightly off from the standard.
Two rotating filter stages support the use of 4x4" filters. The matte box comes with a top flag (eyebrow), side flags, four matte box donuts in 66, 72, 82, and 90mm sizes, and elastic donut. - The matte box has a rear opening of 100mm for lenses.
- The included anti-reflection donuts prevent light behind the camera from reflecting off any filters in the matte box and degrading the image. Included with the matte box are anti-reflection donuts for lenses with a front outside diameter of 66, 72, 82, and 90mm. The included elastic donut supports lenses with a front outside diameter between 66 and 90mm, and it is especially useful with lenses that grow and shrink as you change focus or zoom.
- The side flags incorporate a hook design as a safety feature where they attach to the matte box. This helps prevent them from falling out of the matte box should the lock-down thumbscrew loosen accidentally.
- The swing-away bracket incorporates a height adjustment, enabling you to compensate a total of 0.65" vertically. This allows you to use this matte box with a variety of camera/rod support combinations that may vary slightly from the industry standard 85mm distance from LWS rod center to lens port center.

The Double Sliding Rod Block is fabricated from anodized aluminum and provides an adjustable vertical position. - 15mm Aluminum Rods (Pair, 8") This pair of Shape 15mm Aluminum Rods (8") connect into your camera rig, extend it, and let you add various Shape and third-party accessories compatible with 15mm rods. With these two rods and with a few fundamental accessories, you can most certainly even begin building your own rig from scratch.
The rods are each 15mm in diameter, 8 inches long, hollow, non-threaded, and made of reliable aluminum coated with a clear finish. UPC: 629266001691 - EVF4RVW with Retina Display The Cineroid EVF4RVW with Retina Display features a 3.5" Retina LCD display with 960x640 resolution and a metal housing. The EVF has 3G/HD/SD-SDI and HDMI inputs, and a 3G/HD/SD-SDI output enables loop through. The optical loupe has an adjustable diopter and can be detached completely or flipped open to view the display as a monitor.
The EVF4RVW has a comprehensive set of confidence features, including multiple waveform and vectorscope display options. Peaking is available in red or white, and various clip guides include color and a range of zebra patterns. Two types of false color displays translate exposure values into 6 different colors. Crop guide superimposes darkened bars on the screen to aide in framing shots that will be cropped in post, and the screen size can be changed for use with anamorphic lenses. Other features include pixel-to-pixel, screen flip and monochrome mode.
The EVF4RVW has a mini XLR power input and includes a mini XLR to D-Tap (P-Tap) cable for connecting to an external battery. Interchangeable battery plates for Canon LP-E6, Sony NPF and Canon BP911 batteries are also included. - Retina Display
- The centerpiece of Cineroid's EVF4RVW is the 3.5" Retina LCD with 960x640 resolution and metal housing. The screen supports 16.7 million colors and viewing angles ranging 140° HxV.

- The EVF's 3G/HD/SD-SDI (BNC) and HDMI input connectors support Full HD 1080p, and the 3G/HD/SD-SDI output connector enables loop through.
- Detachable Loupe with Adjustable Diopter
- The optical loupe has an adjustable diopter and can be detached completely or flipped open to view the display as a monitor.
- Waveform and Vectorscope
- There are three waveform and vectorscope display options. Style 1 superimposes a semitransparent, horizontal waveform at the bottom of the screen. Style 2 superimposes a semitransparent, horizontal and vertical waveform and a small vectorscope. Style 3 minimizes the video image and displays a large horizontal and vertical waveform and vectorscope.
- Peaking, Clip Guides and False Color
- Peaking outlines the edges of objects that are in focus with red or white highlights. Clip guides can be displayed as color, zebra or both. The zebra pattern can be moving or fixed, and the range is selectable among 3, 5, 8, and 11%. Two types of false color displays translate exposure values into 6 different colors.
- Crop Guide and Anamorphic Conversion
- Crop guide superimposes darkened bars on the screen to aide in framing shots that will be cropped in post, and the screen size can be changed for use with anamorphic lenses.
- Pixel-to-Pixel, Flip and Monochrome
- Pixel-to-Pixel mode displays the center of the image at its native resolution. Screen Flip can rotate and/or mirror the image. Monochrome mode displays the image in black & white or isolates the blue channel, red channel, or green channel.
- Multi Vendor Battery Support
- A mini XLR power input provides an interface for the D-Tap (P-Tap) power cable. Interchangeable battery plates for Canon LP-E6, Sony NPF and Canon BP911 batteries are also included.
