Product description The SFP+ 12G-SDI LC Transceiver Module from ShieldRock is designed for the transmission of SMPTE standard video over fiber optic connections. It converts electrical SDI signals into an optical signal for transmission over fiber and receives an optical SDI signal and converts to an electrical signal for further processing. Wavelength is a fixed 1310nm and suitable for distances up to 6.2 miles at 11.88 Gb/s on SMF. The transceiver consists of two sections; the transmitter section incorporates a 1310nm DFB laser, and the receiver section consists of a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier. The use of a purpose-built 12G TIA ensures that two modules used together will pass and receive a pathological pattern without unlocking. - Supports: SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI rates
- Compliant with SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 292M, and SMPTE 259M
- Tested with pathological pattern transmissions
