Product description The Shinybow SB-5688AK 8 x 8 HDMI Matrix Switcher with Auxiliary Audio allows you to route 8 HDMI inputs to 8 HDMI outputs in different configurations. Any input can be routed to any output, to all outputs, or to a combination of outputs. A corresponding 3.5mm stereo mini audio input is available for each HDMI input, and a corresponding S/PDIF output is available for each HDMI output, allowing separate audio pass-through in addition to the HDMI embedded audio.
The switcher supports resolutions up to 4K, including 1080p/i, and 3D video, and up to 36-bit color depth. It also features 8 modes of EDID management. Routing selections can be controlled via the front panel, included remote control, RS-232 serial control, or TCP/IP control (not a web browser). An RS-232 Windows GUI interface is included for RS-232 control. An IR receiver supporting 984' of IR distance is included for remote control of the switcher from the room with the displays. A rack mount set is supplied for installing the switcher in a 1U 19" rack.
The HDMI connections support 5.1 and 7.1 channel surround sound audio, MAT (MLP), Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital Plug/ex, DTS, DTSES 6CH, DTS-HD, DTS-HD-HRA, DTS-HD Master, DTS-EX, PCM, PCM2, and LPCM2. The S/PDIF outputs support LPCM-2CH audio. The switcher also supports Audio Return Channel, which is routed out of the S/PDIF outputs. - Key Features
