Product description The ShooTools AutoPan Kit features the AutoPan universal motorized panning device, which is compatible with any slider, and includes an HPRC hard case and other accessories. The AutoPan is designed to attach right on top of a slider and be programmed to achieve smooth and precision motion. It offers a 3/8"-16 mounting thread on the bottom and can be secured directly to the slider carriage. On top, it provides a 1/4"-20 mounting screw for attaching your camera, and comes with a 3/8"-16 adapter for alternate mounting options. The AutoPan supports up to 22 lb loads in horizontal mode, and can be assigned a travel length of up to 9.8 ft (if your slider is long enough), with a max speed of 17 seconds per round. 9.8 ft is the length of the integrated spring-loaded cable that moves the head in sync with the motion of the camera. The internal battery runs for up to 8 hours, allowing for extended time-lapses, and a charger and power supply are included for additional power options. The AutoPan is highly programmable via keyframe designations along the route. It does not require specific measurement calibration nor a fixed distance from the subject, providing an additional level of ease-of-use. Among the buttons and ports on the device are an external sensor port and a shutter release port. Just like you can attach the AutoPan to a slider, you can also mount it on dollies, cranes, tripods, and various other equipment, selecting the mode that best fits the gear. For example, use it for 360° panorama or time-lapse panorama shots when attached to a tripod. - Five Modes of Operation
- Targeting
Keep the focus on the subject during the full tracking shot. This mode is ideal for interviews, talking heads, and macro shots. Panorama Empathize the location by making use of its 360° shots. Async Pan your camera exactly as you like. Spin A unique spinning movement. Multi-Keyframe Set over 10 different keyframes. - Other Features
- App-Ready
Manage all the settings directly from your smartphone over Wi-Fi. Time-Lapse Add new camera movements to your time-lapse productions. Plus, AutoPan works with virtually every motion control in the market. Turntable AutoPan can also be transformed into a turntable.
