Product description The Beta 98AD/C Miniature Cardioid Condenser Microphone from Shure is essentially a Shure Beta 98A accessorized with a drum mount and a heavy-duty cable. The package is intended to perfectly mount and position the Beta 98A on any stand and is recommended for a variety of acoustic or amplified instruments including drums, piano, reed, wind, and strings. Its cardioid polar pattern effectively minimizes off-axis feedback and noise, and its tailored frequency response reproduces drums with pristine results. The Beta 98A's high SPL response captures transients without noise and distortion.
