Product description The BLX Wireless Handheld and Lavalier System with Basic Combo Kit from B&H is an ideal solution for applications requiring wireless microphones. Its two-mic option brings maximum versatility to any single-user application, particularly vocals, lectures, meetings, and interview situations.The kit includes a Shure BLX14/CVL cardioid lavalier wireless microphone system, one BLX2 handheld transmitter with PG58 microphone, and a Gator GM-1W wireless carrying case. In addition, several accessories include the following: One tripod microphone stand with fixed boom, an XLR microphone cable, four AA NiMH rechargeable batteries, a Watson 4-hour rapid charger, an Auray black 1-5/8" foam windscreen, three 1/4" foam windscreens, and a black Auray microphone clip.Featuring everything needed to get you up and running, the B&H kit has both XLR and 1/4" outputs, and is suitable for connecting to a variety of equipment such as mixing boards or PA systems. The system has a 300' line-of-sight range of operation. - Shure BLX14/CVL Lavalier Wireless Microphone System (H9: 512 - 542 MHz) The BLX14/CVL Lavalier Wireless Microphone System from Shure includes a BLX4 single-channel wireless receiver, a BLX1 bodypack transmitter, and a CVL Centraverse clip-on lavalier mic. The system is set to Shure's H9 frequency band and operates between 512 - 542 MHz.
The BLX1 bodypack transmitter has a 300' line of sight operation range with the BLX4 receiver. It is powered by two included AA batteries that can provide up to 14 hours of operation. The BLX4 receiver features microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity that helps prevent interference and signal dropouts. Its one-touch QuickScan feature detects the most interference-free frequency and sets the channel to it for fast setup. The 1.2V, 2550mAh nickel-metal hydride cells are pre-charged, rechargeable up to 500 times, and capable of retaining 85% of their capacity after 1 year in storage. The Rapid unit will charge 4 of them in about 310 minutes, or 2 in about 160 minutes. It's also compatible with optional AA NiCd batteries, or AAA NiMH or NiCd cells.
The charger's integrated micro-controller ensures that each battery is charged to its full capacity, and an automatic cut-off feature prevents overcharging.
