Product description The MXC615 Portable Conference Unit from Shure is for use with the Microflex Complete (MXC) digital conference system (sold separately). It can be used by a chairman, delegate, or for shared use by two delegates—dual delegate operation requires a firmware update.The MXC615 features a microphone control button, a function button, a loudspeaker, a lockable microphone connector, two headphones jacks with individual volume controls, and two channel selectors. The microphone button enables a user to activate/deactivate the microphone directly or to submit a request to speak.Additionally, the MXC615's LED indicates if the microphone is on or in request to speak mode. A function button can be programmed as a Mute, Mute All, Next On, Reply, or other function through the Central Control Unit (sold separately). The built-in loudspeaker provides sound reinforcement of local talkers and external audio sources except when the microphone is activated.Finally, the MXC615 is compatible with MXC-series gooseneck microphone and the 10-pin modular microphone connector can be locked with a hex key to prevent unauthorized removal of the microphone. The conference unit can be placed on a table or fixed for permanent installation with mounting holes underneath the unit. - Can be used by a chairman, delegate, or shared by two delegates (firmware update required)
