Product description Lightning Strikes: Shures RMCE-LTG Lightning Cable Read More The Shure RMCE-LTG is a cable accessory designed to work with Shure SE earphones and compatible iOS devices. At one end, you'll find dual MMCX terminations for connecting your SE215, SE315, SE425, SE535 or SE846 Sound Isolating earphones. At the other end, an Apple Lightning connection point will allow you to plug directly into any compatible iOS device, including the latest iterations of the iPhone, which have so famously jettisoned the 3.5mm headphone jack.
With an integrated DAC, the cable will facilitate the digital playback of high-quality audio at sample rates and resolutions up to 48 kHz/24-bit. With its three-button in-line remote, you can play, pause, skip, fast-forward, and rewind your audio content. The remote also comes in handy for phone calls, as it will allow you to answer or reject them. A built-in microphone offers you the ability to communicate not only with humans over the phone, but with Siri, who can be summoned with the push of a button.
The cable itself is Kevlar-reinforced to ensure durability over time, and measures 50" in length. Furthermore, the RMCE-LTG provides a custom wireform fit to better suit your individual choice of cable placement, and its microphone has been situated in a manner intended to preserve clarity of speech and intelligibility of voice commands.
