Product description Shure Announces New Pitch-Black Super 55 Limited Edition Microphone Read More The Shure Super 55 Pitch Black Edition is a limited-edition dynamic microphone designed to provide a stylish, vintage appearance and wide-range frequency response for vocalists, orators, interviewers, and podcasters in studios, radio stations, on-camera performances, and live stage applications. The Pitch Black Edition sports black foam and a matte black finish.Its supercardioid polar pattern maximizes rejection of off-axis sounds and the shock-mounted cartridge minimizes noise from vibrations. The 60 Hz to 17 kHz frequency response is tuned to suit reproduction of vocals and speech. An integrated swivel mount tilts up to 45° forward and 80° backward, enabling easy positioning of the mic.
