Product description The Shure ULX2/BETA87A Wireless Handheld Transmitter is designed for use with Shure's ULX series wireless microphone receivers. The transmitter is available with various Shure microphone capsules; this version features the BETA 87A supercardioid microphone head. The ULX2 will operate for up to nine hours on a single 9V alkaline battery. - Up to 9 hours of battery life
- Power/battery LED lights green when on, or red when battery is low
- 3-segment battery power icon
- Peak icon appears when audio signal overloads
- Mode button for menu display
- Set button for saving settings
- Adjustable audio gain control
- Input attenuation switch with two settings—0 dB for voice / low output, or 20 dB for high output
- Battery cover unscrews to expose battery and gain control

- Highly consistent supercardioid polar pattern provides superior gain before feedback
- Electronic low-frequency roll-off compensates for proximity effect
