Write Music with a Pen on a Surface Pro
• Sibelius has been optimized for the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablet, enabling you to add and edit notes quickly with just a tap of the pen, as well as play music in real time using the tablet's onscreen keyboard and fretboard. Use the Surface Pen's buttons to select, erase, and edit your music. You can even drag the score around and resize objects while inputting notes.

Add Notes and Comments Directly on the Score
• With the new Annotate feature, you can create reminders for yourself about music changes as you're composing, or communicate edits and feedback to others, streamlining collaboration and review. You can also draw directly on the score using a mouse, trackpad, USB tablet, or Surface Pro 3 Pen. Sibelius allows you to circle items and write or type comments or instructions to arrangers, players, or students. Because annotations are grouped intelligently and always attached to the bar you add them to, you need not worry about losing your notes. Plus, annotations can be switched off so they don't appear when printing.

Interact with Scores using Multi-Touch Gestures
• If you're working on a laptop with a trackpad or using a Surface Pro 3, you can quickly zoom in and out of your score by simply using a pinch-zoom gesture, making navigation and editing easier. You can even set predefined zoom levels to zoom in and out with a quick double-tap.

Scan and Transcribe Music with Ease
• Sibelius comes bundled with additional tools to enhance your music writing and arrangement workflow. PhotoScore & NotateMe Lite can read notes in sheet music and PDFs quickly, enabling you to turn tangible compositions into editable digital scores. You can even write music on a tablet or laptop and convert your handwriting into professional scores. And with AudioScore Lite, you can create a score by transcribing music from a CD or singing or playing an instrument through a microphone and send it to Sibelius.

Simple Activation Process

• With version 8, AudioScore's audio recognition engine has been completely re-engineered to provide better music precision and detail. With AudiScore 8, you not only get improved recognition of multiple overlapping notes and minimize interference caused by drum and percussion sounds, but also experience superior pitch recognition and note separation.

Quick and Easy
• Easily create scores from transcribed notes and AudioScore will automatically detect all instrumentation and create a score with staves labeled for each part. Play back note selections in high-quality audio or save scores as PDFs for easy printing.

Transcribe CDs and MP3s
• With AudioScore Ultimate, you can open a CD track or MP3 file and transcribe it to a score. The software converts up to 16 instruments or notes at a time into multiple staves, with up to four voices per staff. After transcribing your music, you can send it directly to Sibelius or save it as a MusicXML, NIFF, or MIDI file for use in most other music programs. You can also print a professional-quality score directly from AudioScore.

View, Edit, and Play Back Nuanced Performances
• AudioScore Ultimate enables you to view, play, and edit the most intricate nuances of a performance such as the subtle changes in pitch, volume, and timing. AudioScore Recognitions
• AudioScore recognizes styles ranging from solo and chamber music to jazz and pop. It also recognizes a wide range of music performed by non-percussion instruments, all pitches ranging from F0 to C8, and notes from chords that even the ear cannot distinguish. AudioScore can distinguish easily between triplets, duplets, key signatures, and clefs. At a resolution of 0.01 sec, it can recognize pitch and volume changes.

Perform Directly into Sibelius with a Mic
• With AudioScore Ultimate, you can create musical scores by singing or playing into your computer using only a microphone; no prior musical knowledge required. AudioScore Ultimate provides instant graphical feedback about the pitch of your performance over time, so you can see mistakes and make adjustments while performing.
