Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More Outfitted with extra low-dispersion/high transmission glass, multiple proprietary lens coatings, and phase-corrected roof prisms, the Sig Sauer 10x42 ZULU7 Binocular optical system produces bright and clear high-contrast images with true color fidelity across the entire wide field of view. Its 10x magnification allows for viewing of distant objects, while its short 5.9' close-focus distance enables exceptionally detailed observation of birds, bugs, and insects at feeders or bushes. Additionally, the visible hand-shake common with optics of this power is mitigated by the wide viewing angle. Complementing the optical performance is a comfortable long eye relief, and wide exit pupil that will cover the eye even when fully dilated in low-light conditions.Its open-bridge design helps to reduce weight without sacrificing strength or rigidity, and provides a large surface area for a secure and steady grip. For long-duration observation sessions, the ZULU7 can be mounted on a tripod via a user-supplied optional adapter. Rubber armoring helps to give protection from drops and impacts while helping to provide a non-slip grip. Designed for durability, the lightweight polymer chassis is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for fogproof performance and makes it submersible to 3.3 ft for up to 30 minutes.
