Product description Sig Sauer outfitted its battle-ready 4x30 BRAVO4 Wide Field Battle Sight with enviable optical features such as fully multi-coated lenses, Low-Dispersion (LD) glass, and aspherical lenses. While the coatings provide glare-free, clear and bright images, the LD glass was given aspherical curvatures in order to deliver true colors with high edge-to-edge image flatness and resolution. Another highlight of the optical system is the MegaView advanced prism and ocular design, which increases field of view to 10°.
At the core of this gunsight is the illuminated horseshoe-dot reticle. It is calibrated for 5.56/7.62 cartridges and features an illuminated horseshoe and a fine center dot, a medium vertical hair with holdover markings, and horizontal arrowheads pointing towards the center. The reticle's illumination circuit also features a Motion-Activated Illumination function (MOTAC) that powers up brightness when it senses motion and powers down when at rest.
CNC-machined from a single piece of magnesium, the housing meets tight specs imposed by unfriendly battlefields: it is ultra-lightweight, compact, durable, and waterproof to 13'. To allow mounting secondary accessories such as lasers or flashlights, the sight features a Picatinny accessory rail on top. Additionally, it offers slip-free knurled adjustment rings and knobs and a rubberized eyecup. For easy and fast attachment when time matters, the sight is outfitted with a quick release Picatinny mount. - 5.56/7.62 Horseshoe-Dot Reticle
