Product description Sig Sauer outfitted its 5-25x52 WHISKEY5 Side Focus Riflescope with high-quality optical elements, the HellFire TriPlex reticle, and a wide 52mm objective aperture that collects lots of light and greatly improves visibility and image brightness in challenging lighting conditions. The HDX optics feature High-Definition (HD), High-Transmission (HT), and Extra-Low Dispersion glass, which provides true color and maximizes resolution and brightness. Coated with SpectraCoat anti-reflection coatings, the lenses exhibit high transmission throughout the entire visible spectrum, delivering bright and crisp images. To ensure that the image quality is not degraded by external environmental conditions and elements, the optics are protected by the LensArmor coatings against abrasions and scratches. To prevent deterioration of image quality from interfering debris, oil, or water droplets that can stick to lens' surface, the exterior surfaces are enhanced with the oleophobic LensShield coating. Another highlight of this riflescope is its illuminated TriPlex reticle, which is located in the 2nd focal plane and offers a brilliant red center illumination. It features three medium posts and a fine crosshair. This reticle also uses a fiber-optic technology to finely control illumination of the bright red center dot.
To endure most outdoor conditions, the lightweight and durable housing features a single-piece 30mm maintube and provides a waterproof and fogproof performance. The windage and elevation knobs are knurled for a slip-free operation and offer 48 MOA windage and elevation adjustment ranges with 1 cm per click adjustments. This reticle also uses a fiber-optic technology to finely control illumination of the bright red center dot. Also available with this riflescope is the Sig Ballistic Turret Dial (SBT), which features a precision tactical finger-operated knob. The Sig Ballistic Turret (SBT) is a custom laser-etched elevation dial that uses your bullet specifications, ballistic coefficient, muzzle velocity, elevation, and other environmental factors for the correct bullet drop compensation and pinpoint accuracy. All other dials and rings are also enhanced with knurling for a slip-free grip. Also noteworthy is the fast focus eyepiece with a low-profile zooming lever and a green fiber optic zoom indicator. - HellFire TriPlex Reticle
