Fully multicoated XD elements and phase-corrected BaK-4 prisms render color faithful images with enhanced brightness, clarity, and contrast. Complementing the premium caliber optics is an impressive 65° apparent viewing angle and a 6.5 ft minimum focus distance. In addition to the image quality, the Solitude XD binocular has a nitrogen-filled fogproof housing and a range of handling features that equip this optic for years of reliable observation. Although they weigh less than 2 lbs, these lightweight glasses come with a shoulder harness that evenly distributes the binocular's weight and holds the optic relatively close to the wearer's body. A dual-bridge body design and ergonomic indentations with a slip-resistant gripping surface help to balance the binocular in the observer's hands.
