Product description Explore the night with Nitecore's Ranger XR 6.5x42 Digital Night Vision Monocular. At the core of this optic is a bright-light-resistant, digital 640x480 CMOS imaging sensor that allows observers to view night or day scenes magnified through an eyepiece with a built-in LCD display, or relay them to an external monitor or recorder via a built-in RCA video-out port. Enabling you to see imagery in complete darkness, the device also provides a powerful infrared LED illuminator, situated in the left tube of the housing. It also has a second low-power infrared illuminator to assist you with short-range observations. Located on top, within reach of your fingertips, the four-button menu provides easy access to all the functions: power On, IR On, and the two LCD display brightness controls. Also on the top, near the menu pad, you will find a focusing wheel. To enable you to get close-ups, the optical system features a 16' close focus, and to accommodate anyone with eye-wear it offers a 14mm eye relief and a diopter adjustment.
The housing is made of lightweight, durable ABS plastic and features a water-resistant IPX4 rating. It has a contoured and ergonomic design, fitting for one-handed and slip-free operation, a lanyard or strap attachment point, and a rubberized twist-out eyecup. - Digital NV Sensor and Video Performance
