Product description A Guide to Birding with Spotting Scopes Read More Ideally suited for use in the field, on the trail, or at the range, the straight-through viewing Sightmark Solitude SE 11-33x50 Spotting Scope is outfitted with a moderate 50mm objective that draws in generous amounts of light while being small enough that the scope is still portable. Its objective, when combined with fully multi-coated optics and an aluminum-coated BK7 Porro prism system, gives the Solitude competent low-light performance such as at dawn or dusk, or when trying to pick out game from under heavily canopied forests. Complementing the optical coatings is a broad zoom range that enables users to take in sweeping wide-field views and with a simple twist of the zoom collar perform detailed observations of distant subjects. The scope housing is wrapped in a protective rubber armor, and the optical tube is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to an IP67-rating, making it dust and waterproof, as well as resistant to internal fogging in extreme conditions. It is further equipped with a standard 1/4"-20 mounting thread for fast attachment onto various support systems, and to get you viewing faster Sightmark includes a highly portable yet stable tabletop tripod complete with a pan/tilt head.
