Product description Compatible with .17 to .50-caliber firearms, the Sightmark Universal Red Laser Boresight will fit most rifles, pistols, and shotguns and allow you to sight-in, or zero a scope or dot sight, without having to fire a round.The boresight's 650nm, 5mW Class IIIA visible red laser runs on three included AG3 batteries and emits a dot that measures 2" at 100 yards. A convenient simple On/Off switch is located on the end cap. Using the boresight is easy. Simply turn on the unit, insert it into the barrel — where it will attach magnetically and stay in place — and the dot will show exactly where the firearm is aiming. Sightmark recommends sighting and zeroing at ranges between 15 and 100 yards, depending on your firearm.
