Product description How to Use ND Filters: Tips, Tricks, and Special Effects Read More Well-suited to photographing sunsets and sunrises with flat or well-defined horizon lines, the 100 x 150mm Daryl Benson Reverse Graduated Neutral Density 0.9 Filter from Singh-Ray is a specialized graduated filter for selectively balancing high contrast situations. Compared to a traditional grad ND, this filter's 0.9, 3-stop density is in the center of the filter plane and transitions toward one edge while leaving half of the filter area clear to receive full exposures. This configuration is ideal for sunrises and sunsets where the brightest part of the scene is centrally located and is surrounded by a darker foreground and sky. The filter is constructed from optical resin that is both durable and helps to maintain high clarity, and it is compatible with the Cokin Z-Pro filter holder. - Reverse graduated filter places the most density in the middle of the filter and tapers to one edge in order to accommodate bright horizons and other situations where the brightest part of the image lies in the middle of the composition.
- Neutral density 0.9 provides a 3 stop reduction in light in selective areas.
- Constructed from optical resin for overall clarity and durability.
- Compatible for use with the Cokin Z-Pro filter holder.
- Included filter pouch protects the filter when not in use.
