Product description The Sirui C-10S Ball Head is a sturdy and compact tripod head with separate control knobs for pan and tilt, plus a safety-button equipped Arca-type compatible clamp for the included quick release plate. The head features a wide range of movement including a 90° tilt for portrait orientation and a separate 360° pan lock for panoramic photography. At just 3.3" tall and only 0.5 lb, the compact design has been engineered to match with 0 and 1 series tripods in both size and weight. Sirui's unique locking mechanism design allows the C-10S to support up to 28.7 lb despite its compact size. The redesigned Arca-type quick release clamp features a secondary safety-release button that prevents any inadvertent disengagement of the camera/plate from the clamp, thereby adding to the head's overall security and stability. The C-10S's dual-control design allows the user to exercise extremely fine control over the orientation of their camera. Pan, for instance, can be adjusted while the tilt stays locked, for precise panoramas, or pan can be locked while only the ball joint is in use. In regards to construction, the C-10S is machined from strong aluminum alloy and has been anodized with an oxidation treatment that ensures a durable, high-quality finish. Additionally, all three of the C-10S's control knobs are also constructed from aluminum with a knurled finish that provides wear-resistance and a solid grip.
