Once installed you can use it to support any compatible equipment that goes on its 1/4"-20 screw, including compact cameras, flashes, and microphones. The head offers 90-degree tilting in both directions and is portable thanks to its plastic and aluminum construction, which lend it a weight of only 3 oz.
