Product description The SKAARHOJ MC2 Module is a programmable control surface for use with broadcast video hardware, providing tactile control over essential functions. As a "Module" unit, this MC2 has DB-9 ports on either side. The right side connects to a Master unit or other Module units in the chain, while the left side can connect more Module units to expand the control surface. A short DB-9 cable can be used to connect Module units for a second operator. Using the SKAARHOJ-developed open-source UniSketch OS, the end-user can program the 23 backlit buttons and slider on the MC2 to control a variety of devices, from switchers and recorders to PTZ cameras and playback decks. A single SmartSwitch with a built-in scribble strip can be reprogrammed for multiple functions in real-time. System-state information is displayed on the built-in LED display.
