Product description The black Gig Rig from SKB is an extremely rough and rugged case for your mixer/racks. Made of durable polyethylene, this rotationally molded case comes with four locking casters for ease of mobility.Its unibody construction features 7-degree angled top steel rails and 12 RU rack spaces. The front-facing 8 RU steel rails provide enough space for amps or outboard gear. 8 RU Rear rack rails are provided for additional mounting and storage capabilities. You'll even have additional storage space in the rear of the case for cable management. The lid can be used for a pedestal, providing a very usable working height. The unit has two injection-molded, extra-long handles for even more mobility and rapid lifting.Rotational molding is a 3-stage heating process that results in evenness all around the edges of the case. The polyethylene material is inserted into a mold, and then gradually rotated until the material sticks to the edges of the mold in an even pattern. Once cooled, this plastic material forms a strong bond that minimizes sagging and potential collapse. This case is manufactured to such high standards that it comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects. - Greater vertical mixer depth
