Product description The black Checkthrough Security Brief, Mini from Skooba Design appears on the outside to be a sophisticated business case, but is designed and tested to be "checkpoint-friendly," allowing it to be run through airport x-ray screening without removing your computer. The bag opens and hinges in the middle to separate and isolate the laptop compartment from the rest of the bag. For initial immediate visual reference, you can see your laptop through a clear, quick-recognition window that is exposed when the bag is unfolded. The design of the laptop compartment is such that the X-ray image presented to the screener is the same as if the laptop were removed and placed in a bin. Your Checkthrough bag and all of its contents can be carried securely with or without the hinge zipped shut -- this allows you to ready it in line before going through screening. Once through you can pick up the bag and go, zipping it back up on the move or at the gate. The bag is designed to hold most 13-inch laptops and smaller. Inside, there's a folder/file section with movable/removable divider, quick-access front pocket for travel documents. The bag features more than 15 pockets, compartments and organizers in total, including nine fully padded pockets for portable electronics, dedicated thumb drive slot, key clip, easy-access Doc-pocket for boarding pass and passport, and more. A Superbungee strap is included which consists of shock absorbing coil, non-slip cushioned cells and wide, contoured surface area. Meanwhile, reinforced stress points include double-tacked hand grips and box-X stitched and riveted shoulder strap anchors. So in addition to its roomy size and travel readiness, the Checkthrough Security Brief is also comfortable to carry. This Skooba bag has been designed and field tested in close collaboration with the TSA, and meet or exceed all "checkpoint friendly" requirements. However, TSA screening personnel always have the right to require laptop removal, secondary screening, or any other measures deemed necessary to ensure travel security. - Checkpoint-Friendly
