The zirconium oxide ceramic blade has a finger-friendly single edge, which is sharp for materials, but resistant to cutting skin, and the pointed tip helps to initiate a cut. The blades are non-conductive, non-magnetic, non-sparking, and chemically inert, so they will never rust.
