Product description Time-Lapse Tips and Tools Read More The Pro 634CFL Carbon Fiber Tripod with PBH-425DS Ball Head from Slik can stabilize cameras on smooth surfaces or on uneven terrain. The four-section tripod has a weight capacity of 6.6 lb and reaches a maximum height of 66". Three variable leg angles enable the tripod to have a minimum height of 10.3". Plus, the Arca-type compatible ball head has two independent locks, one for the ball movement and the other for the pan. Furthermore, with the ball head's tension control, you can have more-or-less drag on the ball when you are positioning a camera. - PBH-425DS Ball Head with Arca-Swiss Quick Release The PBH-425DS Ball Head from Slik is a versatile, professional tripod head which features an Arca-type quick release system for enhanced compatibility with Arca-type accessories.
The head weighs 0.9 lb, supports up to 6.6 lb, and is 4.0" in height. A separate pan lock allows the head to rotate 360° while keeping the ball locked in place. The separate ball control lock is paired with a tension knob which permits the user to control the speed of the ball's movement. It can hold 8.8 lb of gear, extends from 6.3" to 62", and folds down to 19.3" for transport.
The tripod's 4 leg sections are secured via flip lock and feature an anti-rotational system, preventing the sections from twisting inside of each other, and making it easier to extend or collapse the legs. The rapid center column is constructed from two parts, so that when one is removed a short center column is available for getting your camera as low as possible.
Each leg has an independent lock that sets it to one of three angles varying the height and stance of the tripod, and making it easier to set up the tripod on uneven ground.
