Product description The Slik PROFESSIONAL 4 CF (a.k.a Grand PRO CF 4) is the largest in the Slik "Professional" CF line, reaching an astounding maximum height of 100 inches. Its carbon fiber leg construction makes it approximately 40% lighter than aluminum models. Despite towering over crowds with robust 36mm diameter leg segments which support virtually any camera, the incredible Professional 4 CF still weighs less than 8.5 lb. The "Professional" series tripods are designed for the professional photographer, and feature ultra heavy construction for use with large format cameras (4x5", 8x10"), medium format cameras, and 35mm SLR cameras with long telephoto or zoom lenses. Rugged grooved tubular design prevents legs from turning when unlocking or locking. - Combined with a short column (purchased separately), this full sized tripod can be lowered to just 9" from the ground
- The Grand PRO CF 4 has multi-angle leg locks that allow the angle of each leg to be positioned individually, and allow for easy set-up and positioning on uneven ground or steps
