Product description The Smart-AVI 2-port Cross-platform DVI-D Switch (USB 2.0, Stereo Audio) can control up to 2 computers (PC/Mac/Linux/Sun DVI) via a single shared DVI monitor. Also included are USB 2.0 capabilities that allow the connection of all USB 2.0 devices such as a keyboard and a mouse or a printer. TMDS signal correction incorporated within the 2-port Cross-platform DVI-D Switch provides zero pixel loss. The KVM switch also integrates remote control IR and RS-232 compliance capabilities via the SmartControl software. High-resolution support is offered for 1920 x 1200 60Hz WUXGA. You can also take advantage of the balanced stereo audio capabilities that are included in the 2-port Cross-platform DVI-D Switch, and leverage the audio switching capabilities integrated within the switch. An LED indicator-based tactile switch located on the front panel allows easy control. Remote operation capabilities up to 20' are possible with connection from computer to the switch and from switch to the display. Applications of the 2-port Cross-platform DVI-D Switch include the medical or industrial field where placement of adjacent CPUs is not considered safe. Other areas of application of the switch include server collocation, digital signage, airports, dealer rooms, control rooms, audio/visual presentations, shopping centers, hotels/resorts, and KVM switches. - Controls up to 2 computers (PC/Mac/Linux/Sun DVI) via a single shared DVI monitor
