Product description The Smart AVI AV16X16S is an 16x16 router/switcher for studio and presentation applications. This switcher features 16 video inputs and outputs on HD-15 connectors for display switching functionality. - Applications
- This switcher is meant mainly for presentaion applications for wall displays, airports, casinos and security purposes in hotels and shopping centers.
- Remote Control and Connectivity
- Each switcher can be controlled via a RS-422 port connecting via an RJ-45 on the front of the main chassis. Two connectors are provided for expansion, allowing a simple Cat5 patch cable to link to additional units. An adjustable rotary switch allows each to unit be assigned a unique ID, read when the unit is first powered up. An optional Windows application (SmartNetControl ) is available including a RS-232 to RS-422 converter.
- High Bandwidth
- The routers contain a very high bandwidth routing matrix for the red, green and blue video channels and separate switching layers. The color signals are then balanced internally for a clean output.
