Product description The HDX-LX-TX HDMI and IR Transmitter from Smart-AVI uses a single CAT5 UTP cable to extend HDMI output to up to 250' (76m) from the source using HDBaseT technology when paird with the HDX-LX-RX Receiver. It is capable of transmitting uncompressed HD video up to 1080p (60 Hz @ 48-bit, and 3D) at up to 3.4 Gb/s. It also supports transmitting Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD MA audio signals. The transmitter is HDMI 1.3 / HDCP compliant, and supports bi-directional IR extension that simplifies controlling the video source. It is suitable for applications such as home theater, corporate / educational presentations, call centers, isolated industrial workstations, information terminals / kiosk, airport installations (air traffic control / passenger information), and educational environments that require remote displays.
