Product description The HLX-RX500S Chainable HDMI Extender Receiver from Smart-AVI receives HDMI signals up to 500' via Cat5e/6. It is designed for use with the HLX-TX500 Transmitter. Users can set up their own extension cabling or utilize the pre-existing LAN infrastructure they have access to.The HLX-RX500S Receiver compresses data to utilize the Cat5e/6 cables, but users see no degradation of signal when using 1Gb Internet connections and up. For users utilizing pre-existing LAN connections, implementing a 1Gb switch allows for full-resolution extension. Users with lesser bandwidth will experience compressed signals. With no software or driver required, users can easily extend HDMI signals from sources such as HDTVs, Blu-ray players, and video game consoles. The HLX-RX500S Receiver supports up to Full HD 1080p60 video, and can be controlled with an IR remote control (not included).
