Product description The SDX-4P-RX Quad DVI-D, Dual RS-232, Audio, and USB Keyboard and Mouse Receiver from Smart-AVI uses HDBaseT technology to receive quad DVI-D signals up to 400' over four CAT5/5e/6 cables. It also extends USB keyboard and mouse, audio, and RS-232 signals, giving users the ability to control displays or devices remotely.The 400' signal extension gives system architects and end users the ability to create the audio and video environment that best suits their needs and applications. With support for high-resolution monitors, users can get the most out of their displays while getting the flexibility of long distance signal extension.While managing content in high-security environments, creating a safe and secure control room is critical. Such applications require routing signals from a server room where the computers are safely stored to a control room where approved personnel access the data and video feeds. Whether in a security surveillance center, an operations control room, or some other security-related environment, being able to extend video, audio, USB, and RS-232 signals is a must. This receiver provides system architects with the flexibility they need to create secure environments for servers as well as the end users accessing those computers.
