Product description The Smart-AVI UX-Plus Transmitter connects to a computer, a monitor, a keyboard and a mouse, and extends a VGA video signal along with a USB signal by up to 500 feet over a single CAT5 cable. The USB transmission enables USB functionality in a separately-sold UX-Plus receiver that the transmitter connects to. (The receiver has two USB outputs for connecting to a keyboard and a mouse.)
The transmitter has one VGA input, one VGA output, and two USB outputs. Connection to a computer is made by the VGA input via a breakout cable that splits into VGA/USB. The cable is not included with the transmitter. The VGA output is for connecting to a monitor, and the USB outputs are for connecting to a keyboard and a mouse. The outputs are for connecting to local devices only.
The UX-Plus supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 WUXGA. It features plug-and-play functionality and is compatible with all operating systems. And it is compliant with USB 1.1 specifications for keyboard and mouse connections. - Extends a VGA signal and a USB signal up to 500 ft over CAT5.
