Product description The Smart-AVI UX-Plus Transmitter and Receiver Extender System connects to a computer, a monitor, a keyboard and a mouse on the transmitter end, and extends a VGA video signal along with a USB signal by up to 500 feet over a single CAT5 cable. The USB transmission enables USB functionality in the receiver. And the receiver outputs also by VGA and USB.
The transmitter has one VGA input, one VGA output, two USB outputs, and one RJ45 output. Connection to a computer is made by the VGA input via a breakout cable that splits into VGA/USB. The cable is not included with the transmitter. The VGA output is for connecting to a monitor, and the USB outputs are for connecting to a keyboard and a mouse. The receiver has one RJ45 input, and one VGA and two USB outputs. It outputs video by VGA and can connect by USB to a keyboard and to a mouse.
The system supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 WUXGA. It features plug-and-play functionality and is compatible with all operating systems. It is compliant with USB 1.1 specifications for keyboard and mouse connections. And it is equipped with built-in skew compensation that adjusts and syncs up the signals of the CAT5 pairs so to prevent transmission delays. - Extends a VGA signal and a USB signal up to 500 ft over CAT5.
