Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More The black 8x50 Knight ED Binocular from Snypex combines large objective lenses, phase-corrected prisms, extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, anti-reflective multicoated optics, and apochromatic lenses, to create an optical system with well-rounded performance in all lighting conditions, especially in low light. This combination of technologies and materials work together to reduce chromatic aberration and to produce clear and bright images with true color representation, and high contrast, across the entire field of view without discernible distortion. The objective lenses are designed in a 3-group/4-element configuration and the ocular lenses in a 3-group/5-element configuration to precisely control the light path. Its lightweight magnesium-alloy housing reduces fatigue from long use while remaining strong and durable with a resistance to corrosion. An open-bridge configuration further cuts the weight, while providing a large surface for a secure hold, and the rubberized armor provides a slip-resistant grip as well as protection against drops and impacts. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and o-ring sealed for fogproof performance and they are rated to be submersible to 3.3' for up to 15 minutes. Twist-up eyecups let you customize the eye relief with or without eye wear. - Optical Performance
