Product description Intellijel Korgasmatron II from Softube takes its inspiration from a classic Japanese synth to provide a filter expansion module for the company's Modular virtual synthesizer. It is a dual voltage-controlled filter, which can also be used as a limited oscillator. It features completely independent six-mode filters on each side, and the two filters can be blended to taste using the Xfade knob. It also has an overdrive feature that enables the output signal to be soft or hard clipped depending on how hard the input signal is driven. The hard/soft clipping differences are subtle on simple waveforms sources, and dramatic on more complex sources such as chords. - Six filter types per filter (low-pass 1-pole, low-pass 2-pole, band-pass 1-pole, high-pass 2-pole, high-pass 1-pole, band-reject 1-pole)
- Both filters track 1V/octave over 3 to 4 octaves (can be used as a limited VCO)
- Switch to configure serial or parallel routing
- Output soft and hard clipping
- Resonance soft clipping control (Q drive)
