Product description Available for download, the Softube OTO Biscuit brings bit-crushing, lo-fi glitchiness, and other 8-bit effects to your DAW. The plug-in is an emulation of a French hardware piece developed in the early 21st century, one that was initially popular with DJs, EDM producers, and other looking for legitimate lo-fi sounds in this clean and precise digital era.
The plug-in provides detailed, individuated control over eight invertible or mutating bits, giving you sample-rate modulation control, delay, pitch-shifting, analog-style filtering, and more. The analog filter can even be controlled via a built-in step sequencer, to give your sharp digital effects an automated roundness, if that's your intent.
From trashing up drum loops to creating arcade style chirps, the OTO Biscuit is a plug-in that aids in synthetic sound design.
