Product description Softube Tape is a plug-in that captures the feel and sound characteristics of three distinctly different tape machines. Based on legendary Swiss and British reel-to-reel machines, it gives engineers and producers a range of subtle, analog tape effects, great for smoothing digital harshness or adding cohesion and weight to their mixes.Tape is easy to use, and light on your CPU. Simply select your favorite machine and turn up the amount to taste. You can also get creative using controls such as Dry/wet balance, high-frequency trim, speed stability, and crosstalk amount. Tape speed settings let you experiment with the so-called tape head bump, which adds low end to your track. There is even an authentic tape Start/Stop button for audio FX applications.The plug-in comes with presets made by award-winning engineers such as Joe Chiccarelli and Howard Willing. It also includes the Tape Multitrack software, which is compatible with the MixFX slot of Presonus Studio One (available separately). - Key Features
