Product description Transient Shaper from Softube two-band stereo transient control plug-in designed to sharpen or soften the onset and lengthen or shorten the decay of a sound. The processor also offers the ability to affect either the entire frequency range or only the treble or bass frequencies. Well suited for drums and percussion, the plug-in also excels at processing piano, bass, guitar, electronic instruments, and vocals.
The interface offers ±20 dB dial controls for Sustain and Punch. Each dial also includes a switch for Hi, Lo, and Wide settings, which dictate whether the Sustain and Punch circuits will affect the high, low, or full range frequencies. Additionally, the Punch section offers a fast and slow setting for shaping the onset functions. There is a dedicated 100 Hz to 4 kHz crossover which determines what frequencies are affected by the high or low settings.
The level control dials offer a -48 to +12 dB range, while the clip slider introduces output distortion. The LCD panel provides feedback for the gain change of the hi and lo circuits, clipping, and output level. -
