Product description The Base Camp Axe from SOG is a sturdy tool suited to many tasks in camping and yard work situations. With a head forged from 1055C steel, it features a curved 3.4" blade with a cut-out to reduce friction while cutting and a flat back for hammering and pounding. Full-tang construction gives it durability and a balanced feel. The molded rubber handle provides a solid, comfortable grip, and there's a lanyard hole at the base of the handle. The 16 inch, 33 ounce Camp Axe comes with a snap-closing molded nylon sheath with a belt clip.
