Product description Building on the success of the full-sized model, SOG's satin Voodoo Hawk Mini maintains the combined tactical Tomahawk and FastHawk designs in this smaller and lighter version that is ideal for professional tactical applications; or for hiking, hunting, and camping. Its head is made of 3Cr13MoV stainless steel with a hardness rating of RC. 46-52 and a satin finish. To maximize the contact area of the 2.75" blade, SOG eschewed a traditional curved profile for a straight one, effectively extending the cutting power over similarly-sized curved blades. Opposite the cutting edge is an aggressive spike that is made for piercing and prying tasks.The Voodoo's handle is made from a fiberglass-reinforced material that is corrosion-resistant and, more importantly, temperature-resistant. This resistance ensures that the handle will be comfortable to hold even in cold and wet conditions. On the end of the handle is a metal pommel cap that can be used for hammering jobs. The Voodoo is offered here in clamshell packaging with a ballistic nylon sheath to safely store and transport it. - Head
