Product description Add a 10 Gb/s Ethernet connection to your compatible Windows, Mac, or Linux system with the 1-Port Solo 10G Ethernet PCI Express 3.0 Card from Sonnet. Ideal for 4K post-production shared storage workgroups and other bandwidth-intensive workflows, the low-profile Solo 10GB PCIe card connects to an available PCIe 3.0 slot in your system, and it's equipped with a single RJ45 Ethernet connector. The Solo 10GB card allows for 10 Gb/s transfer rates at distances up to 328' using Cat 6A cabling, or up to 180' with Cat 6 cabling. The NBASE-T-enabled Solo also supports data transfer rates up to 5 Gb/s over Cat 5e cables. The Solo's support for Audio Video Bridging standards makes it ideal for use in pro audio and video applications that demand precise synchronization of data streams. The card comes with both low-profile and full-height brackets. - NBASE-T Support
- The Solo 10G PCIe Card supports the NBASE-T standard of up to 5 Gb/s link speeds over CAT 5e (or better) cabling at distances up to 328' when used with a multi-Gigabit switch or router. This capability allows you to deploy the same card across an organization for users supported by different Ethernet cabling infrastructures.

- The Solo 10G PCIe card's high throughput performance and low host-CPU utilization are attained through functions such as flow control, 64-bit address support for systems using more than 4GB of physical memory, and stateless offloads such as TCP, UDP, and IPv4 checksum offloading. These processes are designed to boost performance during large files transfers or high I/O operations.

- Install the Solo 10G PCIe card in your computer or Thunderbolt expansion system, connect to the network switch or directly to 10 Gb/s-enabled storage, and configure the card's settings through operating system network device configuration tools.
- Includes Two Mounting Brackets
- The Solo10G PCIe Card is packaged with both full-height and low-profile mounting brackets, enabling installation of the card into most PCIe slots.
- Optimized for Thunderbolt
- You can use the Solo 10G card in a Thunderbolt 2- or Thunderbolt 3-to-PCIe expansion chassis, or in one of Sonnet's Echo Express or xMac Thunderbolt-to-PCIe card multi-slot expansion systems. The combination allows you to add a 10 Gb/s network connection to a Mac with Thunderbolt 2 or Thunderbolt 3 ports, or a Windows PC with Thunderbolt 3 ports.
