Product description The 1TB Fusion RAID Drive Module from Sonnet can be used as a spare or replacement drive module for the Sonnet Fusion DX800RAID storage system. You'll be able to use the drive to replace a failed disk in your array, as part of an additional set of drives for your enclosure, or as a spare drive to have on-hand in the event of a disk module failure.
Sonnet Fusion drive modules use Enterprise/RAID Edition hard drives or select, Sonnet certified desktop drives. These disks are selected for their superior performance, error handling, and reliability -- especially when used as part of a RAID set. Sonnet performs hours of additional testing to these drives, including tests for soft errors, vibration, and other reliability predictors. Only the sturdiest drives pass these tests, ensuring that they are suitable for professional use. The drive module has been loaded with RAID-optimized firmware for optimal performance in a Fusion system. - 1TB Enterprise/RAID Edition hard drive with 32MB of cache
