Product description The Tempo SATA E2P 2-Port eSATA PCI Express Host Adapter from Sonnet is an expansion card that adds two eSATA ports to your Macintosh or Windows computer. The card supports SATA II speeds of up to 3 Gbps. This is an excellent solution for adding eSATA capability to your computer. - SATA Connections
- The controller card allows you to connect up to two eSATA drives to your computer, greatly expanding your potential storage capacity. eSATA offers excellent performance, often superior to USB 2.0 or FireWire drives.
- Port Multiplier Support
- The controller card can work in conjunction with enclosures that support port multiplication to connect multiple eSATA drives to one port. This increases the capacity from two eSATA devices to 10, giving you the ability to connect much larger amounts of storage when working with devices that support port multipliers.
- Plug and Play Installation
- Simply install the card into an open PCI Express x1 slot on your Mac or PC and install the driver: it couldn't be easier.
