If you originally purchased the camcorder as part of a bundle, such as a camcorder and lens kit, only the price of the camcorder by itself is pertinent.
The plan provides the same kind of coverage as the factory warranty, and it covers sensor and prism block replacement. Coverage will begin as of the day you purchase the camcorder, and the plan must be purchased within 60 days of purchasing your camcorder. - Features
