Product description The black 32GB MicroVault U-Series USB 3.0 Flash Drive from Sony allows you to transport, share and backup your important files. It offers USB 3.0 connectivity with 32GB of data storage capacity. When the data transfer is in progress, the LED indicator is illuminated so you can easily check the status. Add a layer of security and confidence with File Rescue downloadable software, which helps recover accidentally deleted or damaged files, and Easylock downloadable software, which provides password protection for important documents. This software is compatible with Windows operating systems, and the drive itself works with Windows and Mac. Additionally, the drive provides an attachment point for a strap. - Connection to USB Port Made Simple
- Click mechanism lets you open or close drive with a single push, just like a ballpoint pen. This enables a simple connection to the computer. The drive has a capless design so you don't have to worry about losing any small pieces. The body slides to reveal the USB connector, so the overall length is not extended.
- Easy-to-Read LED Indicator
- When the data transfer is in progress, the LED is illuminated. It is visible from all angles, so you can easily check the status of the data transfer. The LED indicator shines through the clear part of the drive. It remains off when there is no activity.
- Data Security and Presentation Software
- Easy-to-use file recovery software for Windows is available for free download on Sony's site. EasyLock offers users an easy way to secure their files via safe 256-bit AES encryption. File Rescue software helps recover data, photos, and videos that have been accidentally damaged or deleted. It does not support data recovery for content protected and game data files, however. Please note that not all data may be recoverable. Additionally, Sony's original "x-Pict Story" software can create customized slideshows using your images and music files.
- Easy Identification on Computer
- The drive will be identified by name when connected to the computer, avoiding any confusion if there are other USB devices connected at the same time. This identification will allow you to quickly identify the Sony MicroVault drive to retrieve your files. Most computers will automatically recognize the MicroVault device when connected.
