The external SSD delivers fast read speeds of up to 540 MB/s and write speeds up to 520 MB/s, thanks to its USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gb/s) interface. ENC DataVault lite is included so you can utilize 256-bit AES encryption to prevent unauthorized access. Sony includes one USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable and one USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable, so you can use the T5 portable drive with your current and future gear. - USB 3.1 Gen 2 Interface
- The external SSD features a USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface, which supports SuperSpeed USB 10 Gb/s data transfer rates. The external SSD has a maximum read speed of 540 MB/s and a maximum write speed of 520 MB/s.
- Brushed Aluminum Finish & Wave Pattern
- The durable brushed aluminum finish resists fingerprints while the wave pattern adds a unique design. In addition to ensuring a secure grip for carrying, there is a LED indicator to let you know when the drive is on.
- Compact Design
- This drive is smaller than a credit card and weighs just 1.8 oz (50 g).
- ENC DataVault lite
- ENC DataVault lite is included. You can password-protect selected partitions using 256-bit AES encryption. Once activated, a password is required every time you would like to access the encrypted files. Multi-platform compatibility means you can set a password to lock from Mac then open from Windows, and vice versa.
