Sony AccuCORE Technology, re-engineered for Blu-ray media, provides improved reliability and durability. The recording material is of archival quality, resistant to image corruption and deterioration after long periods of time in storage. The disc's hard coating protects against scratches and stains while also preventing dust accumulation. A high-precision structure combats the warping that can occur due to severe changes in temperature and humidity.
